Magnitude 4.5 and 4.0 earthquakes recorded in Oklahoma

Two moderate earthquakes have been recorded in central Oklahoma. The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 4.5 magnitude quake at 1:12 p.m. Monday and a 4.0 magnitude quake at 12:49 p.m. Both were about 3 miles northeast of Crescent, or about 35 miles north of Oklahoma City.
