SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS: Green comet to fly by Earth on April 1st 2017

Green comet 41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak is flying over Earth's North Pole this week where sky watchers can find it all night long not far from the bowl of the Big Dipper. At closest approach on April 1st it will be just 21 million km from Earth--an easy target for backyard telescopes and almost visible to the naked eye. Venezuela Muzzles Legislature, Moving Closer to One-Man Rule

Venezuela took its strongest step yet toward one-man rule under the leftist President Nicolás Maduro as his loyalists on the Supreme Court seized power from the National Assembly in a ruling late Wednesday night.

The ruling effectively dissolved the elected legislature, which is led by Mr. Maduro’s opponents, and allows the court to write laws itself, experts said.

It’s often the case that new technologies arrive on the scene faster than our society and its legal code can keep up. Sometimes this can be a good thing. For instance, 3D printing allows people to print out unregulated gun parts, thus allowing gun owners to circumvent the onerous laws of our government, which has struggled to come up with new laws to restrict the technology.

When technology advances at a breakneck pace however, it can also be quite dangerous for our liberties. This is especially true in regards to privacy. If a new technology makes it easy for the government to track us, you can bet that the government is going to take its sweet time updating the legal code in a way that will protect us from surveillance.

What to Do if You Miss the Rapture

It is possible to be a professing Christian and not actually be in the faith. Paul said, "Examine yourselves, seeing whether you are in the faith" (2 Cor. 13:5a). Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven" (Matt. 7:21-23).

If you are reading this after the rapture has occurred, it's because you weren't ready. Jesus said in Matthew 25:10 that "those who were ready went in ... And the door was shut."

Christians Urged to Pull Children From Public Schools

The warning was clear: Christian parents should pull their children out of public schools, now, to protect them from spiritual damage, extreme indoctrination, and other serious problems. Pastors and churches should work to encourage that “exodus,” helping and encouraging families to put their kids in homeschools or private Christian schools as quickly as possible. The alternative will be the continued decline of the church in America and an acceleration of the nation's decline.

That was the explosive message of an evangelical ministry leader speaking as a guest this week on one of America's top Christian radio programs.

'Very ominous warning' from Turkish strongman just 'a preview'

Turkish citizens living in Europe are heading to the polls this week to vote on a referendum calling for expanded powers for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Members of Turkish expatriate communities in Germany, France, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland are able to cast their ballots between March 27 and April 9 at Turkish consulates.

When Turkish ministers from the ruling Justice and Development Party infamously tried to campaign for the referendum in Germany and the Netherlands, officials in those countries barred them from doing so, citing security concerns.

Terrifying new MEGA FAULT found beneath California with power to cause Big One

California is a hotspot for seismic activity in the US, with the much feared San Andreas fault predicted to cause a quake in the future.

Huge 6.6 magnitude earthquake rocks eastern Russia

The quake hit the Kamchatka region at 05:10 GMT and it struck at a depth of about 33 km (20 miles) just off the coast in the Bering Sea.

It was initally recorded with a magnitude of 7.0 but the US Geological Survey (UGS) later revised it to 6.6.

Around 179,526 people are thought to live in the Kamchatsky region, which lies near the earthquake hotspot known as the Ring of Fire..

WHO warns of measles outbreak across Europe

“With steady progress towards elimination over the past two years, it is of particular concern that measles cases are climbing in Europe,” the agency’s regional director for Europe, Zsuzsanna Jakab, said in a statement.

“Today’s travel patterns put no person or country beyond the reach of the measles virus,” she said.

ISRAEL PILOTS FLYING ALONGSIDE PILOTS FROM THE UAE IN WEEK-LONG GREEK DRILL

According to a statement released by the Hellenic Air Force, the “complex exercise” named Iniohos 2017, which will run from March 27 to April 6, will involve the air forces of Israel, the United States, the UAE, and Italy.
