Alibaba's Revenue Is Boosted by Mobile

Chinese consumers still have room to spend and are willing to do so, e-commerce giantAlibaba Group Holding Ltd. said on Tuesday after reporting quarterly financial results that cheered investors. Alibaba Executive Vice Chairman Joe Tsai said wage growth and considerable savings would empower consumers even as the world’s No. 2 economy slows to its lowest rate of growth since 2009.
