50-Plus Homes Evacuated After Train Derailment

Authorities say dozens of homes have been evacuated after 16 cars on a Norfolk Southernfreight train carrying hazardous liquids derailed in far southwestern New York.
The fire chief in the town of Ripley says Wednesday morning that between 50 and 55 homes were evacuated after the eastbound train derailed around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday about 60 miles southwest of Buffalo.
