Island Nation of Vanuatu Hit by 6.9 Magnitude Earthquake

A 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Sunday.



The United States Geological Survey said the quake struck at 08:23 GMT, 253 miles north west of Vanuatu's capital Port Vila.
