Foxconn Deploys 40,000 Robots in Mainland Factories

Apple's main OEM Foxconn has deployed 40,000 robots in factories in mainland China, hoping to reduce the number of workers.

"In addition to certain components, such as servomotors and reducers, these robots are basically Foxconn's own products", said Dai Chia-peng, general manager of Foxconn's automation technology development council.
