Earthquakes Hit Reno Area

The activity started December 22, 2015 at 10:18PM with a 1.3 magnitude quake north of Galena High, south of Reno-Tahoe International Airport and southeast of downtown Reno. That was followed by magnitude 1.9, 3.2, 3.0, 4.4, 3.4 and 2.4 quakes all in the same area within about 45 minutes. Most were at least ten kilometers deep.
