Terrifying Storm Eva: 70mph gales and torrential rain to hit Britain in time for Christmas

Winds of up to 60mph threaten to lash coastal regions as up to two months’ of rain falls by the middle of the week.
The Met Office said there is a chance Thursday will bring the fifth named storm of the year - Eva - following Abigail, Barney, Clodagh and Desmond.
